Truth Sees Itself

Posted on Aug 17th, 2009 by sunya : sunyalila sunya

Truth sees itself - and it sees itself everywhere and acting through everything. That is why in one moment, we can be seeing the inevitability of Realization at all levels, and in another we are that voice saying, "No, don't go there."

Thanks for this - so many layers of meaning in so few words! The Truth IS and indeed has no opposite - in that sense it is always present. The Truth/ divinity/ love/ Absolute is indeed acting through all things. Yet, there illusion, whereby the truth is not seen. When I perceive choices that don't reflect awareness of What Is, this preference is to not go there…

Much love, peace, blessings

Thank you for this reply, Joseph.  Yes, truth or that which is undivided IS and acts through it all including the “no” to that which leans towards or acts through illusion (and through that which does not know itself or is acting through or leaning towards illusion). This insight came in context to a discussion with someone who was wondering about how Sri Aurobindo and the Mother sometimes spoke of the imminence of truth prevailing or the ultimate realization of truth-consciousness/supramental manifestation, and at other times discouraged behavior or shared visions of less than positive possible outcomes for humanity.
Truth sees itself everywhere and acting through everything.
While life, this breath, the Divine as and through us, these totality of conditions, find us saying 'yes', saying 'no', going here, going there,
dancing with passion, delight, drudgery, or equanimity,
in oneness or in separation,
with peace or with suffering,
in stillness blown by the winds of wu wei,
or with great will, deliberating, dividing and choosing,
wholing, choiceless and inspired,
to the songs of our soul,
or the fictions of our fears,
as breath and contraction
through the openings and closings of our one heart ….
jai om to this most divine lila,
this most divine play of emptiness.
om tat sat.
